Micro Climate Weather Stations

Our micro climate weather stations are an automated version of the traditional weather station, to save human labour and to enable measurements in remote areas and localized geographies. An AWS will typically consist of a weather-proof enclosure containing the data logger, rechargeable battery, telemetry (optional) and the meteorological sensors with an optionally attached solar panel or wind turbine and mounted upon a mast. The specific configuration may be customised to the purpose of the system.

Helps Integrate Climate Variables

Account for environmental variables with simple, accurate, plug-and-log sensors.

Get Local Weather

Measure weather data where you are, and not data of 50 kilometers away at the Met tower, so that you can measure actual environmental variation on an ecologically relevant scale.
Can Include:

  • High Resolution Rain Gauge. Measures precipitation with 0.2 mm resolution. Learn more
  • Solar Radiation Sensor. Completely submersible for extended outdoor use. Learn more
  • Leaf Wetness Sensor. Predict plant disease by knowing duration of leaf wetness. Learn more
  • Temperature/Relative Humidity Sensor. Includes radiation shield. Learn more
  • Spectral Reflectance Sensors: Measure NDVI or PRI vegetation indices at the plot or plant stand scale. Learn more

With latest algorithms, stay ahead of devastating foliar diseases and insects. Multichannel disease weather station can increase profits through timely decision making. The WatchDog Plant Disease Station combines convenience with a reliable package of monitoring and data logging capabilities designed to alert you to conditions that lead to disease.
